Refund policy
Effective 22 Oct 2026 · If the Arabic and English texts differ, the Arabic text governs.
This page sets out the minimum refund rights you have on any course you buy from an academy on Mudarraj. LiveKit check (Devya test) handles refunds for its courses and may offer you more than this page, but never less.
Who handles your refund
- The academy is the seller: it receives your request, decides on it and pays the refund.
- Mudarraj by Devya provides the technology the academy runs on, and makes sure every academy meets this minimum.
Your 14 days before you start
If you ask to cancel within 14 days of buying and you haven't started the course, you get a full refund.
You have "started" a course if you have done any of these:
- opened a paid lesson;
- downloaded a paid file from the course;
- attended one of the course's live sessions.
Watching free lessons or a preview open to everyone does not count as starting.
After you start
Digital content reaches you straight away. That's why checkout asks you to agree that your access starts immediately and that opening paid content ends your right to withdraw. Once you've started a course you can't cancel just because you changed your mind, but you always get your money back in these cases:
- The content wasn't delivered: missing lessons, files that don't work, or a technical problem that blocks your access and isn't fixed within a reasonable time.
- The content is materially different from its description: for example a different lecturer, a different subject or year than advertised, or far fewer lessons than promised.
- The course or the academy closes before the access period you paid for ends: you get back the remaining period pro rata, or the full price if it closes before its content is delivered.
- You were charged twice or by mistake: the duplicate or wrong charge is refunded in full.
Bundles and promo codes
- Promo codes: you get back what you actually paid, not the price before the discount.
- Bundles (several courses sold together): the 14-day right applies to the whole bundle if you haven't started any course in it. If you've started some of its courses, the academy's policy decides what happens to the rest, while the cases above (content not delivered, materially different, closure, double charge) still apply to every course.
How to ask for a refund
- Contact LiveKit check (Devya test) through its contact page or its support email.
- Include your order number, your account email and the reason.
- The academy answers within 7 days.
- If your request is accepted, the academy pays the refund within 7 days of accepting it.
If the academy doesn't answer within 7 days, write to us at hello@mudarraj.dev and we'll follow up with them.
How the money reaches you
- Refunds go back to the original payment method wherever possible.
- Cards: your bank may take a few extra days to show the money in your account.
- Mobile wallets and InstaPay: back to the same wallet or account.
- Cash or payment outlets: to a mobile wallet or by bank transfer, as you agree with the academy.
What happens after a refund
- Your enrolment in the course ends and your access stops.
- Any certificate issued to you for that course is withdrawn.
- If you agree a partial refund with the academy (for example for the remaining period of a course that closed), the academy tells you whether your access continues.
Disputing a payment with your bank
- Contact the academy first; most problems are solved faster that way.
- If you dispute the payment with your bank or payment provider, your access to the course is paused until the dispute is settled. If it's settled in your favour, it's treated as a refund; if not, your access comes back as before.
Your legal rights
Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 applies to your purchases. Nothing on this page reduces your rights under the law, and you can always complain to the Consumer Protection Agency.
For academies
- This page is the minimum your academy's refund policy must meet. You can be more generous, never less.
- Publish your policy where students see it before they pay, together with your legal name and contact details.
- Your academy's plan payments to Devya are not covered by this page; they follow the billing clauses of the Platform Terms.
